Loosen the spark plug boot by firmly grasping the spark plug boot with the puller and twisting it side to side. This will help break the boot loose from the plug prior to pulling. Grasp as low as possible on the boot and pull in line with the angle of the spark plug. This will prevent pulling the metal terminal off the plug.
