1. Press the red release lever on the side of the pliers to open the clamp mechanism. 2. Position the jaws of the clamp mechanism so the hose clamp is in middle of the clamp. 3. Gently squeeze the pliers to close the jaws on the hose clamp. Continue to squeeze until the clamp is released from the hose.
