Documents / Instructions

1. Remove the radiator plug and drain the coolant. 2. Remove the access plate from the timing chain cover to reveal the water pump sprocket. 3. Thread the two attached bolts on the holding tool to the water pump sprocket. 4. Align the slots in the G M water pump tool with the access plate holes on the timing cover. 5. Use the access plate bolts to secure the tool to the timing cover 6. Remove the inner water pump bolts that secure the pump sprocket to the water pump.
